Types of Concrete Finishes
Trowel Finish: A trowel is used to achieve a smooth surface. Can also add in swirls or arcs.
Broom Finish: Done by using a broom across the finished surface. Leave small treads in the concrete that give it a slip resistant finish.
Exposed Aggregate: the natural texture of the aggregates within the concrete mix are revealed by removing the top layer of concrete through a chemical process or brushing the surface.
Polished: Polished concrete is done through a process of grinding the surface of the concrete with specialized equipment and diamond abrasives. This process removes any imperfections and creates a smooth, reflective surface.
Stamped: Stamped Concrete is a process that imprints patterns or textures into the concrete surface, often to mimic the appearance of natural stone, brick, or other material.
Salt Finish: A salt finish is created by applying rock salt to the surface of wet concrete and then pressing it into the material. Once the concrete has hardened, the surface is washed to dissolve the salt, leaving behind small pits and an attractive, textured finish.
Colored Finish: Choose from a multitude of colors to color your concrete.
